The 900 Degreez Pizza Food Truck
7 Months to Design and Build
The 35-foot truck weighs 33,000 pounds, with the oven itself weighing in at 3,500 pounds, so large in fact that Chef Drew was required to obtain a CDL. The entire interior of the food truck is covered in stainless steel. The food truck is outfitted with an LED light system to illuminate evening events.
Built in 10,000 watt quiet diesel generator and the exterior is coated with spray-on bed-liner. The folding glass window that doubles as a serving countertop was lowered to allow us to interact with our customers at eye level. The lower storage compartments are another unique feature to this colossal food truck. The compartments allow storage of the tremendous amount of firewood that the Italian wood-fired brick oven requires. The 100-gallon fresh water tank allows for the food truck to cater any remote event for we do not require electric or water hook-ups.
The truck facade features 900 pounds of glass – this all-glass panel that allows customers to view the chefs at work. Chef Drew created a menu consisting of artisan pizzas, which includes his specialty, the EIEIO pizza that is a white pizza with apple bacon and garlic.
